Finchville Baptist Church is not a building but a family. Regardless of all the things that tend to divide people in the world, we rejoice in the fact that Jesus makes us one big family and we are looking to grow! We invite you to join us for one of our weekend or mid-week gatherings and experience the fullness of God’s love found in Jesus Christ with us!
What to expect?
Even though styles may vary between our services, the atmosphere is the same. During our services, you will experience times of joyful celebration, quiet reflection, biblical teaching, and passionate prayer as we gather together as a faith family to adore Jesus and thank Him for His goodness toward us.
What to Wear?
Simply put…clothes. We are thankful to be done with the days of a church “dress code.” We are a family that comes as we are in what we are comfortable wearing. Whether you wear blue jeans and a t-shirt, suit and tie or anywhere in between, it doesn’t matter to us!

Services
We offer two weekend services
Sundays at 8:30am - If you are an early riser or have a lot going on Sunday afternoon then this service is for you! This worship style of this service tends to be driven by current worship and praise songs rather than classic hymns.
Sundays at 11am - This is our classic, time-honored service where you will find that our worship is driven primarily by traditional hymns accompanied by the beautiful sounds of a baby grand piano and sometimes even an organ.
Childcare - We have a faithful, qualified and loving nursery staff that loves caring for children ages 3 and younger during both of our services. We offer a “children’s church” during the 11:00am service where children 5th Grade and below gather to celebrate and learn about Jesus in an atmosphere that is designed specifically for them. All that we ask is that you check in your children at our check in area before leaving them with a staff member or volunteer.
